Drop, Drop Slow Tears is a beautiful Lenten Hymn that is very well suited to congregational song, with a beautifully meditative text. The simplicity and thoroughness of the text caught my imagination, and this choral arrangement took place. This anthem utilizes contrasting textures, meditative tempo, and rich harmonies that may be performed either by soli, or by a full ensemble.
